Hey world!

I'm honored and (very) excited to share some summer news about some winter shenanigans -- coming up at the end of this year and the start of the next:

I will be adapting and directing the Bard's deliciously absurd COMEDY OF ERRORS at Two River Theater in Red Bank, NJ, as the 2018 production for their marvelous A Little Shakespeare program.

A Little Shakespeare is a really neat thing -- the program brings in a professional team to work with a group of awesome high-schoolers on a fully realized production of a Shakespeare play. It's part mentoring/educational, and also part Just Making A Fantastic Show! I've had a sneaky little desire to do Comedy for some time now, and I can't wait to tackle it with the talented students in Red Bank.

The production itself goes up March 6-11, 2018, so it's plenty early to mark your calendars ;) I'll be adapting the play and heading into the pre-production process later this year. I think I'll be re-watching Help!, A Hard Day's Night, and A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum as inspiration (thanks, Richard Lester!).
